Genesis Festival 2012

The year 2012 is recognised as an axis point where all energies are aligning, creating unlimited potential for our future. With this in mind, it’s time to bring the tribes together, to create a new direction for ourselves; one that embraces the past, present and future of our music, our culture and our world.

Genesis Festival is the culmination of collective energies, collective thoughts and vision- a return to what was pure and innocent in our music, our dance, our gatherings and our life. We, as sentient beings return to an awareness of our home planet and its home in the universe; an awareness of ourselves and how we are an inseparable part of a cosmic whole- The return to one. It is a shining inner light that has brought us all together, all our favourite crews artists and performers from Melbourne and beyond, working as one- one vision one love and one spirit which is the guiding light of our mission.

Genesis festival is a celebration of art, music, dance and culture. It represents the unified vision of 6 respected production crews.

Held over the Easter long weekend at a location just outside of Melbourne, Australia- Genesis will present a diverse and progressive array of electronic and live music from Australia and overseas. Incredible art, installations, lighting and performances will further tantalise the senses. Markets and lifestyle areas round out the festival to create an experience you won’t soon forget!
